Support Engineer

Description

We have a great opportunity for the position of Support Engineer at Austin, Texas, USA to join our Services team. These positions will be a part of Brilyant’s Services team in Austin which has been growing rapidly. Join our team and be a part of our growth story.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning service capacity, forecasting demand, analyzing software performance, and tuning systems.
  • Create auto-provisioned images based on the end-user’s job role or responsibilities.
  • Create and deploy packages to set up and manage Mac OS and policies.
  • Patch management—test and evaluate new macOS versions.
  • Configure, maintain and support core infrastructure services like Active Directory, GPO, Jamf Pro, AzureAD, SSO, and M365.
  • Coordinate projects and large-scale endpoint infrastructure design and deployment efforts.
  • Manage endpoint compliance and endpoint vulnerability remediation and implement feature update patching and third-party patching.
  • Deploy Jamf/Intune OSD task sequences and use.
  • Design, deploy and troubleshoot an enterprise endpoint management infrastructure.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in endpoint management platforms, Jamf.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools—PowerShell or others.
  • Experience leading installation, configuration, and maintenance efforts related to computer operating systems with an emphasis on both Windows and MAC OS.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint patch management, O365 updates, monthly updates, security patching, and GPO deployment is a plus.
  • Experience with Active Directory/O365/Azure administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, AzureAD, SSO, SQL, IIS, and M365.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users and team members
  • Ability to troubleshoot second-and third-level end-user device issues.
  • Ability to provide RCA in case of any failed change, high-priority incidents.
